TRIBECA GALLERY presents: Against Privacy & /social/surveillance
A two-part exhibition by quasimatt, hosted by TRIBECA GALLERY. Part I — Against Privacy: on the night of the Matrixed Systems opening, quasimatt's surveillance manifesto is live on a computer in GLO Modern Gallery while quasimatt and a small number of collaborators move through the room, speaking with people, collecting Instagrams, logging everything — surveilling the room. Part II — /social/surveillance: the surveillance log collected on opening night becomes the second show, opening on TRIBECA GALLERY one week later. Every person, every exchange, every movement, rendered in the flat, data-driven style of quasimatt.com/social.
