We transmit far more than we mean to, all day long, and almost none of it is received. Full Spectrum is a room built for receiving.

Seven artists. Seven frames in brushed aluminum. Each frame carries two streams of light: the line the artist meant to say, and the one that came through underneath it. Visitors press to mark what reaches them. The signal returns to the artist, and surfaces here in real time.

Tension

This isn't only about artists. We all have a gap between what we mean and what comes through. We leak signal we never meant to send. Artists just live it in public, asked to stand beside their work and explain it. What comes through anyway?

Full Spectrum is built to make that visible. Not to expose anyone, but to give the inner line somewhere to be received. The piece works as a loop. A visitor presses the buttons because the words sound like a thought they thought was only theirs. The artist receives the signal, and reflects on which of theirs found someone.
